Biography :

Dr. Monisha Ravishankar BDS, MDS (orthodontics), DDS (Canada) I bring over 12 years of experience in the field of dentistry along with extensive continued clinical education and hands-on training across the world. I would like to introduce myself as an experienced Canadian board-certified clinician with great exposure and expertise in all aspects of general dentistry in addition to high-quality aesthetic and restorative dentistry, orthodontics, digital smile design and laser dentistry. I am a top tier certified Invisalign provider in North America. I have mastered advanced orthodontic techniques with clear aligners and functional orthodontics. My current focus includes merging clear aligner orthodontics with cosmetic restorative dentistry, aiming for excellence in the aesthetic outcome. Along with a excellent work ethic, my strong points are great communication skills and teamwork to provide the best comprehensive care to all patients. My journey in dentistry as a clinician, study club mentor, and researcher, has cultivated in me a passion for learning and lateral exchange of ideas with colleagues. Being the driving force behind the set-up, training, implementation, and management of Invisalign/clear aligner orthodontics in addition to other aspects of general dentistry in multiple practices across Ontario, Canada, has been the most fulfilling aspect of my journey and has been a pivotal part of my growing career. I take great pride in having close to a 100% success with case acceptance from patients. I relocated from Toronto, Canada to Dubai, UAE two years ago, practicing as a DHA licensed dentist. Having worked and licensed in three different countries, I realized there is a huge gap in providing guidance to new/ recent dental graduates or even the experienced ones looking for clarity in their career paths ahead. Dentistry is a rewarding career if planned and executed the right way. And I have enjoyed bringing this experience to dentists across the world with this lecture.
